Olivia backed away from Jonah.
“That’s impossible.”
Sarah fought Silas’s control, but his voice continued through her.
“Olivia was treated at a Gray Tide fertility clinic. The biological material came from Crown Subject R-One.”
Mason understood.
“Reed One.”
Elias sat down heavily.
Gray Tide had not merely copied his sons.
It had created an entire Reed bloodline from his family’s DNA.
Jonah looked at Olivia.
“I did not consent.”
“Neither did I,” she said.
Rebecca searched the registry.
The Crown symbol opened a separate set of files.
The Reed line had been selected to control military replacements.
The Anchor was biologically connected to that line.
Mason looked at his father.
“Why our family?”
Elias answered.
“Silas believed obedience and rebellion were both inherited.”
Sarah regained control long enough to whisper, “Tie me down.”
They restrained her inside the lighthouse.
Silas continued appearing in brief moments.
Each time, he revealed a different secret.
Daniel was a failed Reed-Vane hybrid.
Ward’s brother had helped create Phase Two.
Cole had a registry mark hidden in his spine.
Margaret had once carried the Anchor protocol without knowing it.
Some claims could be true.
Others were intended to divide them.
Claire refused to react.
“We verify everything.”
Lily sat beside Sarah.
She sang the lullaby slowly.
Sarah’s breathing stabilized.
Olivia approached Jonah.
“The child may share your family’s DNA, but you are not responsible for what they did.”
Jonah looked toward Mason.
“I was created as his replacement.”
“You are still responsible for who you become next.”
A helicopter appeared above the lighthouse.
Ward expected federal support.
Instead, the aircraft displayed the Crown symbol.
Armed soldiers descended.
Their commander removed his helmet.
He looked like Mason and Jonah, but older.
“Return the Crown heir,” he ordered.
Mason aimed at him.
“Who are you?”
