He hated that.
“I thought he was exaggerating.”
He showed investigators messages.

EVAN:
You’re not actually giving her Benadryl for baths right?
MARK:
Small amount.
EVAN:
Stop doing that.
MARK:
She gets hysterical.
EVAN:
Then call the pediatrician.
MARK:
Erin will turn it into six months of therapy.
EVAN:
Maybe because she’s FIVE.
Three days later:
MARK:
No meds tonight. Disaster.
Evan responded with a thumbs-down.
He never called me.
Did that make him criminal?
No.
Did he regret it?
