The sleek black town car smoothly carried me back to the corporate headquarters, the gentle hum of the engine doing absolutely nothing to calm the fierce, raging storm of thoughts in my mind. Silas Thorne was incredibly dangerous, completely driven by endless greed and entirely unburdened by any moral compass. I immediately stormed back into the executive conference room where Marcus and the legal team were anxiously waiting for my return.
"He's incredibly arrogant and highly confident," I announced loudly, pacing rapidly back and forth across the thick carpet. "He heavily believes he has three of our major institutional investors securely in his pocket. We need a massive counter-strategy, and we need it yesterday."
"If he actually has those specific investors, he might theoretically have the necessary votes to force the algorithmic changes," Elena pointed out grimly, rapidly scrolling through a lengthy digital document on her tablet.
"Then we strictly target the public," I said, stopping my pacing and turning sharply to face the dedicated team. "We heavily leverage the immense power of our charitable foundation. We publicly announce a massive, unprecedented new privacy initiative completely tied to those specific algorithms. We make the exact technology so unbelievably vital to global humanitarian efforts that forcing a change would be viewed as a catastrophic moral failure by the general public."
Marcus's eyes widened with sudden, profound realization.
"You want to essentially weaponize our philanthropy?" he asked, a slow, impressed smile spreading across his face.
"I want to radically protect our technology by making it fundamentally untouchable," I corrected him sharply, tapping the table for emphasis. "Draft a comprehensive, airtight press release immediately. We are going to permanently donate the exclusive licensing rights of the core algorithm to the charity foundation. If Vanguard tries to forcefully seize it, they won't be heavily suing a wealthy tech corporation; they will be aggressively suing a globally beloved humanitarian charity that actively saves millions of children."
