Chapter 52 - A Mother's Pride|

The incredibly tense, deeply exhausting hours slowly bled into a massively long, completely sleepless night. The massive digital screens in the command center continued to aggressively display the highly successful, continuous delivery of vital medical supplies to the completely isolated, deeply ruined South American valleys. Through sheer, unbreakable will and brilliant, flawless engineering, Leo’s dedicated team had miraculously managed to supply six massive, critical triage centers entirely from the dark sky.

I walked slowly over to the central console, gently placing a steaming, fresh cup of strong black coffee directly next to Leo's rigid, tired hand. He finally looked up, his dark eyes heavily ringed with deep, profound exhaustion, but burning brightly with a massive, triumphant light.

"We heavily stabilized the primary blood supply for the three largest field hospitals," Leo rasped quietly, taking a desperate, greedy sip of the hot coffee. "Dr. Amina's international response team just officially landed at the temporary runway. They are aggressively taking over the complex medical logistics now."

"You did a completely, absolutely spectacular job, Leo," I said softly, my voice totally thick with immense, raw emotion. "You literally pulled thousands of innocent people back from the absolute brink of total disaster tonight."

"I heavily relied on the exact, flawless algorithmic architecture you originally designed," he replied humbly, offering a small, deeply appreciative smile. "The massive tech fortress you fiercely built is what actually saved them."

"The technology is completely useless without a profoundly brave, highly ethical leader boldly directing it," I corrected him firmly, placing a loving hand on his broad back. "You completely proved to the entire world tonight that you are fiercely ready to handle absolutely anything this massive, chaotic world violently throws at you."

"Director!" a loud voice completely interrupted us from across the busy room. "The local government has officially requested a highly secure video conference. They want to personally, deeply thank you for the massive, unprecedented rescue operation."

"Take the call, Leo," I smiled proudly, slowly stepping back into the quiet shadows. "This is your massive, beautiful victory. Boldly claim it."
