Chapter 38 - A Trip to Africa|
Two highly stressful months later, I found myself standing excitedly on the red, dusty soil of rural Kenya, the blazing, intense African sun beating heavily down on my wide-brimmed hat. The massive, newly constructed medical clinic stood proudly before me, a beautiful, gleaming beacon of clean white walls and vast, shining solar panels. It was officially opening today, and I had absolutely insisted on being there in person to proudly witness the incredible result of our team's massive, exhausting efforts.
Leo, now proudly sixteen and towering completely over me in height, stood closely by my side. I had specifically brought him along, deeply wanting him to clearly see the profound, real-world impact of the complex technology and massive philanthropy we constantly discussed back home.
"This is completely unreal, Mom," Leo breathed quietly, his wide eyes scanning the massive crowd of joyful, highly appreciative locals gathering eagerly outside the large clinic doors. "You actually built all of this from nothing."
"We built this, Leo," I corrected him gently, placing a loving, firm hand on his broad shoulder. "This required the massive, dedicated effort of thousands of brilliant engineers, brave doctors, and generous donors. I simply helped efficiently organize the initial chaos."
A local doctor, a brilliant, highly educated woman named Dr. Amina, approached us with a beautiful, bright, welcoming smile.
"Welcome, Madam CEO," she said warmly, respectfully shaking my hand. "Words absolutely cannot adequately express our profound gratitude. The advanced diagnostic machines inside this amazing building will literally save hundreds of innocent lives this month alone."

"The deep honor is entirely mine, Dr. Amina," I replied truthfully, feeling a massive, overwhelming wave of profound emotion completely wash over me. "Please, introduce me to your dedicated medical staff."
As we slowly toured the pristine, highly advanced facility, I watched Leo carefully observe everything with intense, fascinated focus. He eagerly asked the local technicians highly complex questions about the massive solar grid and the deep-well water filtration systems. Seeing his brilliant, analytical mind actively engaging with real, global humanitarian solutions confirmed exactly what I had always known: I was deeply raising a highly compassionate, truly extraordinary young man who would boldly change the world.
